• gang multiple channels for simultaneous playback

• create specialised playback modes such as Fill & Key or Program/Preview mode

These operations can be performed using a conventional computer interface with

keyboard and mouse control.

3.1.1 BACKGROUND COLOR OF WINDOW OUTLINE

Depending on whether the open Channel Explorer window is active or not, the

background color of the window title bar, as well as the window frame border, will

be different:

• orange when the window is active

• black when another window is active.

3.2 CHANNEL EXPLORER VIEWS

The available views in the Channel Explorer V.5.1 are:

• Tree view

• Rec view

• Player view

• VTR view

• XFile view

These views are explained below.

From version 5 of IPDirector, you can display channels in a “flat” view.

In this view, you can quickly select several channels and start/stop the

recording or streaming process.
